Staff we supply to care homes

Care assistants

Personal care, mealtimes, activities and the rest of a day or night shift.

Senior carers

To lead a shift, hand over properly and give medication where your policy allows.

Registered nurses

RGNs and RMNs for nursing homes, including nights and weekends.

Support workers

For learning disability, autism and mental health homes.

Where we work

If you manage a care home you already know the hard shifts: Friday nights, bank holidays, the week two of your seniors are on leave at once. That is what we are for.

We work with residential homes, nursing homes, dementia units and homes for younger adults with learning disabilities or mental health needs, across England and Wales. Each area below has its own page with the towns we cover and how cover is arranged there.

How it works

  1. 1

    Tell us the shift

The home, the unit, the times and anything the person should know about the people you support.

  2. 2

We match and send the file

We offer it to checked staff who have done that work and live within a sensible journey, and send their file before the first shift.

  3. 3

    Familiar faces

For blocks of shifts we keep the same people on your rota so residents see faces they know.

Urgent shifts
Same day, when someone suitable is free and close enough to the home.
Block bookings and new units
One week to book, check and brief the people who will cover your rota.

Checks that stand up at inspection

Every care worker we place has been through these checks. Nurses are also checked on the NMC register before each placement.

  • Enhanced DBS with the adults' barred list check.

  • Right to work seen and verified before anyone is booked.

  • References including the most recent care employer.

  • Mandatory training moving and handling, safeguarding, infection prevention and basic life support, with certificates on file.

The right regulator for each nation

Care homes in England and Wales answer to different regulators, and care workers come under different registration rules. We check against the rules where your home is.

NationCare homes inspected byCare workers
