Who we send

Care assistants, medication trained senior carers, RGNs and RMNs, and support workers.

How to book

Call us or send the home and the shifts through the form.

Who we supply in Hampshire

Care assistants

Residential and dementia care.

Senior carers

Shift leads and medication trained seniors.

Registered nurses

RGN and RMN cover for nursing homes.

Support workers

For homes supporting people with learning disabilities.

Where we cover

Hampshire, Southampton and Portsmouth. Most homes are in the county rather than the cities: Basingstoke, Andover, Winchester, Eastleigh, Fareham and Gosport, Havant, the Test Valley villages and Farnborough and Aldershot in the north.

Dementia care makes up a large part of the work, with nursing homes and learning disability homes alongside.

Rural homes near Romsey or Alton need staff with transport, so we check that before we offer a shift.

How it works

  1. 1

    Tell us the shift

One night or six weeks of maternity cover, the booking works the same way. Tell us the home, the unit and the times.

  2. 2

    We check the journey

The shift goes to checked staff who can reach you, with their own transport for rural homes.

  3. 3

    File before arrival

You get the compliance file before the person arrives, and for a block the same people return.

Urgent shifts
Same day, when someone suitable is free and can get to the home.
Block bookings
One week to book the same people for a run of shifts.

Compliance first

Care homes in England are inspected by the Care Quality Commission. Each person we send has these checks on file.

  • Enhanced DBS with the adults' barred list check, seen before anyone is booked.

  • Right to work checked against original documents or the Home Office online service.

  • References two, one from the most recent care employer.

  • Training moving and handling, safeguarding, infection prevention and basic life support, with certificates in the file you receive.

  • Nurses live NMC registration checked on the register before each placement.

The north of the county

Basingstoke, Andover and the Farnborough and Aldershot area sit closer to Surrey and Berkshire than to Southampton, and their homes compete with those counties for the same carers. If you are in the north of Hampshire, tell us your usual shift times and whether you can offer parking. Both make a difference to who will take the shift.

A shift to cover?

Tell us the home and the dates. We will come back with names.
