How we vet every candidate

Identity & right to work
Verified identity and documented right to work in the UK for every candidate, before they’re put forward.
Criminal record checks
Enhanced DBS checks — and PVG in Scotland or AccessNI in Northern Ireland — appropriate to the role and setting.
Professional registration
Live registration confirmed with the relevant body: NMC, GMC, HCPC, Social Work England, Social Care Wales, the SSSC or NISCC.
References
Employment references obtained and checked, covering recent and relevant experience.
Occupational health
Fitness-to-work clearance and immunisation status confirmed for clinical and care settings.
Training & the Care Certificate
Mandatory and role-specific training kept in date, including the Care Certificate for care staff.
Your data, protected
We take data protection seriously — for the people who register with us, and the organisations who trust us with theirs.
Registered with the ICO — the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office.
UK GDPR-aligned handling of all candidate and client information.
Secure storage with access limited to the people who need it.
Clear retention limits — we keep data only as long as there’s a lawful reason to.
Your rights respected — access, correction and erasure on request.
Never sold — your details are used to provide our service, nothing else.
Frameworks & approvals
Appointed on public-sector frameworks
We hold places on national public-sector staffing frameworks across the NHS, Health & Social Care and higher education. Appointment confirms our compliance and supply standards; it does not guarantee any volume of work, and assignments are awarded as and when contracting bodies require them.
Safer recruitment
We follow safer-recruitment principles throughout: verifying identity and history, exploring any gaps in employment, and confirming people are suitable to work with vulnerable adults and children before they’re placed.
Documentation on request
Need our compliance pack, insurance details or framework credentials for a tender or supplier onboarding? Ask us and we’ll provide them promptly.
Care services — in progress
Our own domiciliary care and support-work services, delivered under Flamingo Medics, are being established. Our registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) is currently in progress — we are not yet CQC-registered, and we’ll publish our registration details here as soon as it’s complete.
Honest about where we are
We’d rather be clear than overstate. On the recruitment side we’re fully operational and supplying now; on the care side we’re building carefully, and won’t deliver regulated care until our registration is in place.
