From Llanelli to Merthyr
Whether you live in Neath, Llanelli or Bridgend, or further out in Carmarthen or Merthyr Tydfil, tell us how far you are prepared to drive and we will stay within it. You choose the shifts and the settings, and you can work ad hoc, take a block booking or commit to a longer placement.
Settings, including community
The shifts cover hospital wards, care and nursing homes, mental health units and community services. Community work can be a good fit if you prefer to be out and about rather than on one ward all day. Adult nurses are needed most, and we regularly get requests for mental health and learning disability nurses.
What you do on shift
You assess people and plan their care, deliver it and evaluate the results. You give medication in line with NMC standards, monitor clinical observations and respond to them, keep your records accurate and work as one of the wider clinical team.
Pay and requirements
£25 to £40 an hour, depending on the shift and setting, paid weekly. To be booked, you need an active NMC PIN with revalidation in date, six months or more of recent UK nursing experience and the right to work in the UK. An enhanced DBS on the update service is needed, though we can arrange one for you. Mandatory training, including life support, moving and handling, infection prevention and safeguarding, should be in date, with occupational health clearance, immunisations for the setting and two contactable references.
