What you bring
An active NMC PIN and revalidation in date. At least six months of recent nursing in the UK. The right to work here. Current mandatory training, including life support, safeguarding, moving and handling and infection prevention. Occupational health clearance and immunisations suited to the setting, and two people we can contact about your recent employment.
The work across Staffordshire
Shifts are on hospital wards, in care and nursing homes, in mental health units and in community services, in the city and out across the county. Adult nurses are asked for most, with mental health and learning disability nurses in regular demand as well. You will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate care, handle medication to NMC standards, act on observations, write accurate records and work with the wider clinical team.
Hours, travel and pay
You choose your shifts and settings, from a one off shift to block bookings and longer placements. We match you to bookings by postcode and journey time, which helps if you are coming from Stafford, Crewe, Macclesfield, Telford or Burton Upon Trent. Pay is £25 to £40 an hour, depending on the shift and setting, and it is paid weekly. Flamingo Workforce supplies vetted healthcare staff throughout the UK.
