Alongside adult nursing on wards, in theatres, on ICU or ITU and in emergency departments, we book nurses into care and nursing homes, mental health units, community and district nursing and practice nursing. Salford sits right beside Manchester and Trafford, with Bury, Stockport and Oldham close by, and we match you to work by postcode and travel time so the commute stays sensible.
Your part on shift
Safe clinical care built around the person in front of you. That means assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care, giving medication safely within NMC standards, recording and acting on observations, keeping notes accurate, timely and confidential, working with the wider clinical team and safeguarding everyone you look after.
Must haves
Valid NMC registration with an active PIN and revalidation in date, the right to work in the UK, and an enhanced DBS check, which we can help you get. Mandatory training should be current and fit the role, for example basic or immediate life support, moving and handling, infection prevention and control, and safeguarding of adults and children. We also need occupational health clearance, immunisation status in line with the setting and contactable references from your recent work. Knowing your way around hospital or care home electronic records is a plus.
What you get back
£25 to £40 an hour, paid weekly, and a genuine choice of shifts, settings and locations. Go ad hoc, take block bookings, or ask about a permanent position. You get a consultant who knows your area and what you like, help with revalidation and mandatory training, and the compliance side (DBS, right to work and the paperwork) handled for you.
