No Care Certificate yet? That alone will not stop you working healthcare assistant shifts with us in Nottingham. If you have at least six months of recent care or healthcare assistant experience in the UK and are willing to complete the certificate, we will support you through it while we get the rest of your file in order.
The certificate, and the rest
Alongside the Care Certificate, we ask for the right to work in the UK and two references that cover your recent jobs. Mandatory training must be in date: basic life support, moving and handling, infection prevention and safeguarding. We also need occupational health clearance and immunisations appropriate to the setting. If you already have an enhanced DBS on the update service, we will use it; if you do not, we can arrange one.
What the shifts involve
You will be working with nurses and care teams, giving personal care, helping people move about, keeping an eye on nutrition and hydration and taking observations and writing them up. Much of the job is noticing when someone is not comfortable or not safe, and doing something about it. Your notes need to be clear and done on time.

Pay and how it works
You earn £13 to £15 an hour depending on the shift and the setting, paid weekly. Take a one off ad hoc shift, a block booking or a longer placement. We are a health, social care and corporate recruitment agency, and we would rather place you somewhere that works for you than somewhere that does not.
