London is a lot of city to cover, and you may well not live in the middle of it. You might be coming in from Watford and Hatfield to the north, Dartford to the east, and Epsom and Chertsey to the south and west. So the first thing we ask is where you are starting from.
Pay on this role
The salary on file is £38,000 to £45,000, with pay processed weekly.
Acute work, if that is your background
We place registered nurses on hospital wards and into theatres and scrub, ICU or ITU and emergency departments across Greater London. If you have built up acute experience, this is where it counts. Specialist skills such as critical care, scrub, paediatrics, mental health, IV therapy or venepuncture are desirable and can open more doors. We also place nurses in care and nursing homes, mental health units, community and district nursing and practice nursing, and you are free to mix settings.
Ways to work
Ad hoc shifts, block bookings and permanent roles are all available. You choose the shifts, the settings and the locations, and your offers are filtered by postcode and travel time so the commute is one you would actually make.
What you need to register
First, your NMC PIN has to be active and your revalidation current. You need the right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS; if yours has lapsed or you never had one, we help you apply. Training certificates matter too: life support at basic or immediate level, moving and handling, infection control, and safeguarding that covers both children and adults. Add occupational health sign off, immunisations that suit the setting and referees from your last few jobs who will pick up the phone. Having used electronic records on a ward or in a care home is a plus.
The work
On shift, it is the nursing you already know. Assess the person in front of you, plan their care, give it, then check whether it worked. Medicines go out to NMC standards, observations get written down and acted on, and the notes stay accurate and private. You work as one of the clinical team and you keep people safe. Our side covers DBS, right to work and the rest of the compliance paperwork, along with help at revalidation time and with keeping training current.
